In April 25th and April 26th alumni of the MCCT participated in a workshop to pre-select instructors for CONACYT Program Called Binational Nodes Innovation ( Nobis ) . Training in the methodology I- Corps from NSF was in the premises of CONACYT in Mexico City with the participation of representatives of the UNAM , IPN, CINVESTAV , the National Technology Mexico , Tec de Monterrey and CGIE . Since 2010, CTCM has been an engine of economic development through sustainable innovation and entrepreneurship in clean technology. CTCM offers an alternative to improve the competitiveness and productivity in Latin America.
CTCM has an open acceleration process , in a competition format , focused on promoting the commercial scaling as well as the development of technical and business skills in young entrepreneurs and new entrepreneurs. It also works as a platform for companies generators of clean technology through links with different actors at national and international levels.
CTCM is characterized by work on strengthening all selected projects across multiple benefits such as networking events and ongoing training for 5 months, the semifinalists receive specialized counseling and monitoring, while finalists will have the chance to win various prizes including $ 250,000 MXN and more than a million pesos in prizes and the opportunity to receive investment from private equity joint venture with a capacity of up to $ 30 million.
Yesterday, June 17th, 2015 was held in our facilities the phase 2 of the CTCM “Business Model Validation” in this phase we had the participation of 15 projects.

On May 20th and 21st we performed, with great success, at our facilities, the first phase of the regional tournament “Cleantech Challenge Mexico” and the Workshop “Business Models and Financing”.
On May 20th the representatives of the 15 projects that are participating in the northeast area of Mexico, presented their idea to the jury, which was formed by experts in project’s evaluation. Some members of the jury were the MCCT’s José Manrique, Alejandro Hinojosa , Humberto Molina , Jorge Gálvez , among others.
On May 21st the Workshop “Business Models and Financing” was offered for the participants as much as for the public. The speaker was the MCCT Jonathan Pinzón, COO of Green Momentum, the company that organize the Cleantech Challenge Mexico.
